Portrait and Profile
The first business I worked in manufactured bracelets for Rolex watches, in Geneva. An enriching behind-the-scenes experience in the production of luxury items, this is where I developed my taste for precision and excellence.
My second noteworthy professional experience was in Zurich, as coordinator of the European Year of the Environment (1987). Even before environmental and humanitarian matters were popular, I felt they would become important issues.
In North America, my home for more than 15 years, I have had an opportunity to unleash my creativity and express my entrepreneurial side as a communications consultant.
My priority has always been to incorporate excellence, commitment and entrepreneurship into what I do, be it finding the right words to define corporate objectives, organizing and hosting cultural events or managing an organization.
After serving as Editor-in-Chief (features) for a major women's magazine in Canada, I currently fulfil the same role as head of culture and current events for VITA, the French-language version of the American magazine MORE. I have held this position since August 2008.
In July 2009, I was selected by the Canada Council for the Arts as a panel member for the awarding of grants to professional writers (non fiction category).
